Do you want to be STRONGER, FASTER, or Have more FUN with your fitness In 2025?
Share with us which of the above you want to focus on in 2025 along with a couple specific things you want to incorporate into your fitness routine to successfully reach your goal. (Please share with us by emailing Runners@
Courtesy of Brooks, we’ll give away two pairs of Brooks shoes!
- Just for sharing a goal, you’ll be in the drawing for a free pair of Brooks shoes.
- We’ll check in with you at the end of the year to see how it went. If you attain your goal, you’ll be entered in the drawing for a pair of Brooks shoes.
- Everyone who follows through with their 2025 goal will be awarded a prize from Brooks.
What Do I Do Again?
Just email us at runners@fairhavenrunners.com and tell us “I want to be stronger”, “I want to be faster” or “I want to have more fun” and give us a couple specific things you plan on incorporating into your fitness routine to successfully reach your goal. Let us know by Jan. 31st!
Here Are Some Suggestions In Case You Need A Little Inspiration:
“I want to be faster!” –
I’m going to add sprints to the end of my runs two times a week.
I’m going to add speedwork to one of my runs each week.
I am going to complete a running drill routine before my workouts.
I’m going to incorporate my favorite workout from when I ran cross-country all those years ago.
I am going to sign up for GBRC and go to their Wednesday workout group.
“I want to be Stronger!”
I will add hill workouts to my weekly routine.
I will sign up for a strength training class.
I will be able to do10 push-ups in June.
I will go on a hilly hike once a week.
I’m going to add 5 minutes of core exercises to my daily routine.
I will incorporate exercises with resistance at least twice a week (i.e. resistance bands, weight training).
I will try virtual yoga and/or pilates instructional videos at least once a week.
“I want to have more fun!”
I’m going to go on a different route at least once a week.
I am going to listen to a Podcast or music when I workout.
I’m going to start exploring nighttime running with a headlamp.
I will create new routes for others to discover on platforms like Strava!
I will invite a friend to walk with me once a week.
I will sign up for one fun run or walk each month.
