Limber Limericks – A Feetures Socks partnered contest
Event Navigation
Leg it (Irish slang for “run quickly”) to your laptop and compose a running/walking related limerick.
Just for submitting it to us, you’ll be in the running for one of 20 pairs of Feetures socks we’ll be giving away.
Be sure to email us (runners@fairhavenrunners.com) your limerick by St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th).
Your limerick can be:
More sincere like this example:
George was a boy who could run,
He ran in the rain and the sun.
In the hail and snow,
He wanted others to know.
How running all year long is so much fun.
He ran in the rain and the sun.
In the hail and snow,
He wanted others to know.
How running all year long is so much fun.
Or it can be silly –
There was a guy from the east,
Who started running so that he could feast.
His runs would take in a pub,
That also did grub,
That enabled him to eat like a beast.
