60 miles, that is the distance from Fairhaven Runners to the Canadian border, and back.

For the month of March, we’re partnering with Altra Running to bring you The Bellingham to the Border and Back Virtual Challenge. You can log your mileage inside or outside, in small segments or long training runs. As long as you hit 60 miles during the month of March you will have completed the challenge!

For completing the challenge, you will earn an Altra branded neck gaiter (while supplies last) and a raffle entry for a chance to win one of two pair of Altra shoes!

Feeling extra ambitious? You can attempt to complete the full challenge as many times as you want for extra entries into the raffle!

Altra will also have Torin 4.5 Plush demo shoes available to check out on one of your runs to help you stay comfortable along your virtual  journey to the border and back.

How do I show proof of my mileage?

You can log your mileage by being a part of our Strava Run Club, Garmin Connect, pen & paper or however you keep track of your progress. Just make sure to send your total mileage to runners@fairhavenrunners.com by the end of the month to have it count.

What do I do if I want to do the challenge through the Fairhaven Runners Strava Run Club (it’s a great way to get encouraged, motivated and inspired)?
