3-Minute Core

We hear a lot about having a strong core, but why do we need one?  If you think about it, if we don’t have any muscle in our torso area, every time our bodies stand up, walk, or run, our skeletons are holding everything upright and taking all of the impact.  So, if we work to make our core stronger, the muscles can help with carrying that awesome body around in the world.

To develop a strong core, do the 3-Minute Core Workout every day.  The workout consists of:

  • 1-minute plank
  • 1-minute crunches
  • 1-minute pushups

It is only 3 minutes of your day, and it is easy to do.  But it is also easy not to do!  Hook it to something you do every day so that it is automatic and you do not have to think about it. I turn on my coffee maker and instantly go into the living room and start the routine without thinking.

If you do this every single day, you will be amazed at how strong your core is in only 1 year.  Consistency is the KEY!
